Vice Chair of Trustees
Philippa is a former Teacher of the Deaf, Educational Psychologist, Family Adviser and Headteacher; specialising in working with children with complex Special Educational Needs and their families. She was a Headteacher in all age special schools for over 20 years, most recently at Ravenswood School in Nailsea. Philippa has been a trustee of a large national charity (SENSE) and she now volunteers as a Magistrate for the Avon and Somerset Bench.
Philippa is enthusiastic about using her experience as a senior leader supporting the ongoing development of CANS, for the benefit of our clients.
Philippa has been a trustee of Citizens Advice North Somerset since February 2019 and is the current Vice Chair (elected November 2019).
